Dates and Times

TideFest 2010 is on Saturday, December 4th from 10AM-5PM and on Sunday, December 5th from 11AM-4PM.

Online Screening

While completing your online application you must submit a total of three digital photographs. The digital photographs you submit should represent the single medium you intend to show at TideFest. Screening online or in person does not increase or decrease your chances of being accepted for TideFest.

The following are excellent examples of quality digital photographs: Example #1, Example #2 and Example #3. When submitting your photos the total size of all three files should not exceed 16MB. Also, please remember that submiting your application may take several minutes, depending on the speed of your internet connection. Please keep in mind that submitting quality digital photographs over a dialup internet connection is very unreliable.

In-Person Screening

If you choose to attend the May 1st screening in-person at Gig Harbor High School you do not need to complete the online application. To screen in-person drop off three pieces of your art at Gig Harbor High School between 8AM-11AM. Art must be picked up between 4PM-5PM the same day or a 10$ holding fee is charged. If you choose to screen in-person your information will be collected at the door.

Original Work

TideFest is looking for unique and original artwork sold by the creating artist. TideFest does not accept agents or manufactured items.

Information Accuracy

Please remember when completing your application all information will be used exactly as submitted. For example, if you submit "barb" as your first name and "Smith" as your last name, if accepted, your name would appear in the event program and on our website as "barb Smith."

Booth Information

All booth dimensions are 10X10 and start at 200$. Corner 10X10 booths are 230$. Electricity is provided at no additional cost. Specific locations and requests are generally honored on a "first come, first served" basis. However, TideFest reserves the right to assign booth locations and change the layout at anytime. On your application you may indicate a booth preference that will be considered should you be accepted. This is the only request that will be considered. If you requested a corner booth please be sure to send 230$. Corner booths are secured by by the date of your payment. If you do not receive a corner booth the 30$ corner fee will be refunded.

Door Prizes

This is a much anticipated tradition where artists donate small gifts which are randomly awarded throughout the show to shoppers. If you are willing to donate a small gift please select "Yes" when completing the Door Prize portion of the application. Your participation in this long standing tradition is much appreciated!

Payment

If accepted, payment to secure your booth must be received by September 12th. If payment is not received by the deadline your booth will be released to an artist on the waiting list. Cancellations after November 1st are non-refundable. No refunds will be made for bad weather. Checks should be payable to "TideFest" and should be sent to:

Co-Artists and Booth Sharing

Several artists may choose to share a booth but are still required to screen individually. If you intend to share a booth, all sharing artists must indicate this in the application comments section. Please include the names of all sharing artists.

Application Tips

To submit your application you must click the button below that says "Click here to complete your registration." If you do not click this button we will not recieve your information. After you click this button you should see "Thank you for registering for Tidefest!" Depending on the speed of your internet this process might take a up to a minute. After submitting your application you should recieve a copy at the email address you provided. If you do not recieve your email confirmation please check your email SPAM filter. To ensure you recieve all of our emails please add contact@tidefest.org to your address book.

Screening Results

Screening results will be released on or before May 17th. Results will be sent via email and posted on our website.
